manufactured by
Fly & More, a company in
Bavaria Germany. Fly & More was founded by Wolfgang Kaiser
in 1995 and initially carried Icaro hang gliders and flight
accessories. In 2001 they expanded to include the design and
production of Icaro brand paragliders and have never looked
back since....The Icaro team proudly flys the gliders they
make. Icaro
paragliders are manufactured by SkySports in Sri Lanka under
close supervision using the latest innovations in software
and production techniques. All materials come from the
European Union and are state of the art. Some may recognize
the Skysports facility in that they also manufacture
paragliders for other well known companies such as Paratech,
Airea, Firebird, Independence, Perche, Windtech, & XIX.
A driving force behind Icaro
Paraglider is of course designer
Michael Nesler,
an innovative and gifted designer who is the developer of a
3D computer program that is the most widely used design
software use by Paraglider manufacturing companies. Along
with Icaro, his software is known to be used by Area, Swing,
Madreiter, SOL, Edel, UP Europe, AFM, Paratech,
Independence, Perche, and Atair Aerodynamics. He has
personally designed over 70(!) paragliders in addition to a
number of kites and parachutes and is an avid acro pilot and
flight instructor. |
